    Rachel Meier leads the Portfolio team within Tailored Solutions, which is responsible for addressing client needs by providing integrated, consolidated and fully packaged information regarding portfolio construction and performance conversations for branch teams and clients.

    Rachel began her Edward Jones career in 2001 in the financial planning department, preparing tailored financial solutions for clients. She then transitioned to the role of portfolio manager in the Trust Company. In 2006, she led the launch of the Financial Assessment and Support Team (FAST), which provides tools and resources for branch teams in the U.S. and Canada. Three years later, she created the Client Consultation Group, which assists high net worth clients with their financial needs. She led the integration of Advice and Guidance from 2014 until she transitioned to her current role in September 2020. She was named an Edward Jones principal in 2016.

    Rachel serves on the Edward Jones’ Investment Policy Committee, the group of investment professionals responsible for Edward Jones' investment guidance, asset allocation and expectations for long-term capital market returns. She presented as an expert in technology and retirement solutions at the Investment News 2008 Retirement Income Summit.

    Prior to joining Edward Jones, Rachel worked for Motorola and was a relationship manager in a regional bank’s private client group.

    She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University in Bloomington-Normal. She holds the CFP® professional designation, Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation and is a CFA® charterholder.
