    Andy Miedler is Edward Jones' chief financial officer, responsible for the Finance division with a focus on championing the financial stewardship and integrity of the firm. He is a member of the firm’s Enterprise Leadership Team, which is responsible for providing advice and counsel to the managing partner in helping the firm to grow its impact and create value for clients, colleagues and communities today and in the future.

    Andy began his Edward Jones career in 2002 in the Equity Research department after a working as a corporate tax consultant for Arthur Andersen and PricewaterhouseCoopers. At Edward Jones, he initially served as an analyst, following the technology, media and telecom industries. He later led the area. and was named an Edward Jones principal in 2011.

    In 2011, Andy transitioned to lead the Capital Markets and then the Packaged Products areas within Product Review. He also is a former member of the Edward Jones Investment Policy Committee, the group of investment professionals responsible for Edward Jones’ investment guidance, asset allocation guidelines and expectations for long-term capital market returns.

    In 2014, Andy moved to the Finance division with responsibility for Financial Reporting, Expense Management and Analysis, Regulatory and External Reporting, Finance Risk and Controls, and Canada Finance. Over time, he also became responsible for Tax, Capital and Asset Management, Treasury, Compensation, Finance Systems and Support and Sourcing.

    Andy is a native of Moberly, MO., and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy. He is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of St. Louis, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

    He also serves as chair of the board of directors of Great Circle, a statewide children’s behavioral health organization. Andy and his wife, Kristen, have two children and enjoy traveling, the outdoors and tennis.
